Emmy B. Demeris
Emmy B. Demeris is an associate at Carter Morris, LLP. Emmy earned her Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University in 2018. After graduating, she moved back home to Houston where she attended South Texas College of Law Houston. She received her Doctor of Jurisprudence and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2022.
While in law school, Emmy was a member of the Moot Court Team and worked in South Texas College of Law Houston’s Family Law Clinic. Emmy previously interned at the Harris County District Attorney’s Office and various family law firms in the Houston area. She also served as a judicial intern for U.S. District Court Judge Dena Palermo of the Southern District of Texas.
Emmy represents clients in all types of family law matters. In addition to practicing law, she volunteers her time with Child Advocates as a court appointed advocate. Emmy enjoys traveling, swimming, and spending time with family.
